Our project came to life when Rebecca Cengiz approached Peggy de Azevedo with a problem: there are too few resources for LDS Singles.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Peggy de Azevedo has seen many single clients struggling with loneliness and discouragement. Having worked in her field for over 12 years, Peggy has seen first-hand the struggles and challenges of Latter-day Saints. She has also seen the miraculous healing power the Gospel provides to those who suffer. With this project, Peggy hopes to help LDS singles remember they are children of a loving Father who wants them to find joy and meaning in their lives. In addition, Peggy is a talented lyricist, musical supervisor, producer, and musical director. She created the Millennium Choir, and served as musical supervisor on Swan Princess II and III, and the series Bible Stories.

Rebecca Cengiz became increasingly aware of the difficulty of being LDS and single while serving a mission in Europe. Many sisters were depressed and discouraged because of their single status. After attending and serving in singles wards for twelve years, and being discouraged herself, she began looking for resources for LDS singles, finding very little beyond "The Singles Ward." With this project, she hopes to help other LDS singles know they are not alone, they are understood, and they are valued in the Church, and most imporantly, by their Heavenly Father.
